“For us, a holiday doesn’t need to be complicated. Good food, getting outdoors, nice people around you and, at the end of the day, simply that lovely feeling of coming home.”
We are John and Ilona, and together with our daughter Luna and our dog Tommy we live and work at La Randulina.
Our love of hospitality began years ago in Italy, where we ran our own B&B. There we learned how good it feels to offer guests not just a room, but above all a place where they quickly feel at home. We brought the Italian love of good food, hospitality and the good life with us to Ramosch.
La Randulina actually suits that perfectly. We don’t like things complicated or formal. In the mornings we’re there for you at breakfast, during the day we love sharing our favourite places in the Unterengadin, and at the end of the day we find it cosy when everyone comes back to the lodge and feels a bit at home again.
Luna knows exactly where to go with children by now, and Tommy is usually not far away - especially when there’s good company around.
Above all, we hope you quickly feel at ease here. As if you’ve found your own place in the mountains for a while.
A quick introduction

John
John likes to get stuck in. In the mornings he’s there for coffee and breakfast; later in the day he helps out wherever needed in and around the lodge. From technical jobs to dinner: he’s happiest keeping busy, and likes a chat with our guests along the way.

Ilona
Ilona makes sure guests quickly feel at home. She knows the area well, loves sharing tips for a good day out and has an eye for the atmosphere in the lodge. Warm, personal and always up for a nice chat.

Luna
Luna is growing up in Ramosch and loves drawing, making things and roaming around the lodge. By now she knows the area very well and has surprisingly good tips for fun things to do with children.

Tommy
And then of course there’s Tommy, our English Cocker Spaniel. He’s mad about children, loves attention and is by now almost as familiar a face in the lodge as we are.

See you soon?
We’d love to show you why we enjoy living in Ramosch so much — and we hope you’ll feel at home here just as quickly as we did. Explore our rooms or have a look at our lodge kitchen.
